GeoStamp is made by Urja Infotech, an independent developer in Kachchh, Gujarat, India. You can reach us at urjainfotech3@gmail.com.
GeoStamp keeps the following only on your phone:
We do not receive any of this. App data is not backed up to the cloud. If you uninstall the app, its settings and photo log are deleted. Photos already saved in your Gallery stay there until you delete them.
The camera is used only to take photos when you press the shutter.
GeoStamp uses your location only while the app is open, to print the address, GPS coordinates and accuracy on each photo. It never uses location in the background.
The location is also saved inside each photo file (EXIF data), so apps like Google Photos and Google Maps can show where it was taken. If you share a photo, the location inside it goes with it, as well as the location printed on the stamp.
To turn GPS coordinates into an address, the app sends only the coordinates to:
No photo, name, project detail or device identifier is sent. These services also see the phone's internet (IP) address, as with any online request. These services handle the request under their own privacy policies. Address data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Coordinates work without internet. The address is added to photos taken while online; photos taken offline keep the coordinates only.
The app uses the internet only for the address lookup described above.
GeoStamp shows no ads and has no account or login. The app has no analytics or tracking code.
PDF, CSV and KML reports are created on your phone. They leave the phone only if you choose to share or save them somewhere else.
GeoStamp is a work tool for adults and is not directed at children.
Because your data stays on your phone, you control it. You can delete photos from your Gallery at any time, and uninstalling the app removes its settings and photo log.
This website (urjainfotech3.github.io) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits and see which links bring visitors. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device and does not identify individual visitors. The GeoStamp app itself does not use it.
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
